Dr. McCutcheon grew up in Clinton and has two dogs, Wodie and Murphy. She attended LSU as an undergrad and got into veterinary school in her junior year. She attended LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2012 and then her DVM in 2015. After finishing vet school, she began practicing at Live Oak Animal Hospital and Baker Animal Hospital. She re-opened Baker Animal Hospital in 2018 after its unplanned closure during the Great Flood of 2016. She has continued Baker Animal Hospital’s legacy of providing outstanding veterinary care.
Nicki has lived in Zachary since she was born. She owns 1 Catahoula dog named “Luna”. She also has 2 little boys that share the same love of animals that she has. She has been devoted to Baker Animal Hospital since the reopening. She is a dedicated employee and only wants the best for all the furry animals. Whenever you call Baker Animal Hospital you can almost 100% guarantee Nicki will be the one greeting on the other end. She looks forward to many more years of quality care for your babies.
Tim has been with Baker Animal Hospital since 2020, working mainly behind the scenes. When he was young, he was responsible for bathing and grooming his family’s pets, which gave him plenty of practice. He received his grooming certification in 2023 and became Baker Animal Hospital’s official groomer in May 2023. Tim strives for perfection in his grooms, and he works hard and diligently to achieve precisely what the pet parent requests. Tim and his wife share 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 19 chickens. He is looking forward to providing the best grooming services possible for many years to come at Baker Animal Hospital.
Sarah has lived in Louisiana all her life and has always known she would work with animals
someday. She started her career as a kennel assistant. After graduating high school, she went
to BRCC and received her degree in Veterinary Technology. She has two rescue dogs (Nola
and Willow) and two rescue cats (Walter and Archie). She has a big heart and will treat every
furbaby like one of her own.
Madison grew up right here in Baker. She has always had a passion for helping animals. Even
when she was little, she knew she wanted to work with dogs and cats someday, rescuing a few
of her own pets over the years. She graduated from the BRCC Vet Tech program in May 2024
with an associates degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. She looks forward to
being a part of your pet’s life by keeping them happy and healthy. She will love your pets and
spoil them as her own whenever they come for a visit!
